KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Kansas City Athletics Department has unveiled the new design of the competition court in Swinney Center, the home of Roos volleyball, women's basketball and men's basketball. The project occurred after the athletic department completed a new brand identity initiative on July 1. The court includes the new Roo mascot and the Kansas City skyline. The goal was to showcase the new logo in front of thousands of Roo fans and serve as a source of pride for the University.
The new, exciting look now gives the Roos the best court in Kansas City!
The first time fans can check it out is a volleyball match against University of Kansas on Friday, Aug. 30 at 7 p.m.
The project began on June 13 and was completed on July 3.
