2014-15 -- Played the No. 1 position all season, and was a second-team All-WAC selection in singles, and a first-team All-WAC pick in doubles with partner Mike Psarros... Tallied a team high and school record tying 19 wins in singles play, while winning the first eight matches of his career and two tournaments in the fall season... After a rough start to the spring season, he rebounded to close the season 9-4 in his last 13 matches... In doubles play, he tallied a 3-1 mark in WAC play and went 16-15 overall... His 13 wins at No. 1 doubles ranks second at UMKC... Had a long win streak of four in doubles and eight in singles... Was named WAC Tennis Player of the Week a team-best four times as well.

Before UMKC -- Castellano was the No. 6 ranked player in the Canary Islands region of Spain, and was No. 341 in the nation… He was strong  in the 2014 season with six tournament championships… He won 11 tournaments in the 2013 season, while taking runner-up once and playing in two semifinals… In 2012 he was a nine-time champion in singles, while also taking a doubles title and numerous other semifinal appearances… He was also the hitting partner of professional David Marrero when in the Canary Islands.
