2014-15 -- Played mostly as the backup point guard during the season, getting five starts... Battled injuries most of the year, sitting out three different stints... Ranked fifth in the WAC in steals with 1.36 per game (34 total)... Had three-plus steals on four occasions, including a season-high four in back-to-back games vs. William Jewell (11/29) and Milwaukee (12/3)... Scored double-figure points three times, including a season-high 12 points vs. Tennessee Tech (12/22)... Also scored 10 vs. Bakersfield (1/22).

In High School -- Knight attended Olathe South High School, playing for head coach Jim Carr… In his senior season he was a second-team 6A Kansas all-state pick and a first-team All-Sunflower League selection after averaging 16.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2..0 steals and 3.0 assists a game... He finished his career as the school’s all-time leading rebounder, and was ranked third in school history in both scoring and assists... As a junior he averaged 13 points, 5.8 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.9 steals per contest while leading the team to a 16-6 record… That season he earned Kansas class 6A second-team all-state honors by the coaches, and all-state top 10 by Kansas-Sports.com… He also grabbed Wichita Eagle all-class all-state second-team honors as a junior… His sophomore season he was an honorable mention all-state selection by the Wichita Eagle, while earning Sunflower League Sophomore of the Year… As a freshman he was Sunflower League Freshman of the Year as well… He played his AAU ball for Jim Huber and MOKAN Elite, where he helped his team to the Nike Peach Jam National Tournament, and competed for Nike EYBL.

Personal -- Born April 17, 1996 in Overland Park... Son of James and Tinitia Knight... His father played basketball at San Diego and graduated from Kansas along with his mother, while his sister played for Kansas and is currently on the coaching staff there… His uncles Danny, Mark and Kelly all played basketball for the Jayhawks as well... Business major.
