Hagedorn Named to WAC All-Tournament Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – UMKC volleyball senior Emma Hagedorn (Parkville, Mo.) was named to the 2016 Western Athletic Conference All-Tournament Team, announced by the league on Saturday.

In UMKC opening round game, Hagedorn tallied 21 kills with just four errors on 42 total attacks to record a .405 hitting percentage in the five-set loss to UT Rio Grande Valley. The senior totaled 24.5 points, adding five block assists to her stat line, along with a service ace and two digs.

Hagedorn finished the season with a .439 hitting percentage, the most efficient season in UMKC history, topping her own mark set in 2014 with a .342 percentage. She also moved into the top-10 for UMKC career kills, recording 997, 300 of which came in this season.
