KANSAS CITY, Mo. – UMKC Athletics will host an NCAA Tennis Selection Show watch party on Tuesday at 3:45 p.m. on the Jazzman's Coffeehouse Stage at the UMKC Student Union. Both the Roos men's and women's tennis programs won their respective Western Athletic Conference championships and will learn their opponents and destinations for the upcoming NCAA Tournament during the show.

The men's selection show begins at 4 p.m. and will be followed by the women's show at 4:30 p.m. The watch party is free and open to the public. All UMKC students attending will be entered into a drawing for a UMKC Athletics “swag bag” filled with Roos gear.

For the first time in UMKC history, both tennis teams are headed to the NCAA Tournament. The conference championship for the women is the first in program history while the men's conference tournament championship is the first since joining the WAC.
