Roos Golf Ranked 24th By Golfweek

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After the opening two tournaments of the 2017-18 season, UMKC men’s golf currently ranks 24th in the NCAA according to Golfweek with a rating of 70.46.

In the Golfstat statistical rankings, meanwhile, the Roos currently hold the 16th best scoring average on the season at 71.40.

"I'm very proud for our players to recognized in this way," Head Coach J.W. VanDenBorn said.  "It is certainly a testament to their dedication and belief I what we are trying to build here at UMKC. We have a great group this year and I am exited to see what they can accomplish this year."

The Blue & Gold will be back in action on Oct. 1-3 when they head to Valentine, Neb., for the Jackrabbit Invitational at The Prairie Club.
