KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The UMKC men’s golf team returns to action for the when they take part in the Pepsi-Cola Classic at the Red Hawk Golf Course (par-72; 7,523) in Las Cruces, N.M.

The Field
The eight-team field includes: Grand Canyon, New Mexico State, Oral Roberts, Southern Utah, UMKC, UTEP, UTRGV and Western New Mexico.

The Schedule
Two rounds are slated for the first day on Oct. 20, while the final round will take place on Oct. 21.

About the Roos
The Roos will send six golfers to the event, five on the team and one individual.  From the No. 1 spot, McCain Schellhardt will tee-off for UMKC, while Paul Foulquie and Francois Lagraulet follow at Nos. 2-3.  Taylor Larsen holds down the fourth position and Daniel Gaspar is at No. 5.  Raphael Lapierre-Messier, meanwhile, is playing as the individual.

Up Next
The Blue & Gold will be back in action again on Oct. 28-30 when they wrap-up the fall season at the Warrior Princeville Makai Invitational in Hawaii.
