UMKC Finishes First Day of Tiger Invitational

COLUMBIA, Mo. – UMKC men’s golf shot 306-300 and is 30-over par following the first two rounds of the Tiger Invitational hosted by Mizzou at The Club at Old Hawthorne. Jakob Garstecki (Germantown, Wis.) is tied for eighth individually after shooting 71 (-1) and 73 (+2) on the opening day to sit at even par.

Francois Lagraulet (Bordeaux, France) shot 77 (+4) and 73 (+1) and is tied for 23rd invidually. McCain Schellhardt (Edmond, Okla.) carded a 79 (+7) and 76 (+4). Hubert Tisserand (Lyon, France) shot 79 (+7) and 81 (+9) while Jack Hermeston (Newcastle, England) finished with an 85 (+13) and 78 (+6).

Mizzou leads the team standings by 11 strokes at 2-over par. Austin Crowder of IUPUI leads individually at 7-under.
