The following is the third installment of “Roos Introducing Roos,” a multi-part series introducing the UMKC softball newcomers as told by a returning member of the squad. Noteworthy facts about head coach Meredith Smith Neal's latest additions will be unveiled on a weekly basis as the team approaches the 2018 season.
Tiler Noyola was born on July 4th, 1999 and her mom is Brandie Noyola. She has two sisters, Reighan and Samantha. She is majoring in Health Science and she wants to be a Physicians Assistant when she grows up. Tiler loves dogs and her favorite animal is her English bulldog, Bell. Tiler attended Montgomery High School and played 4 years of softball for the Bears while also participating in soccer and track. She was a member of multiple clubs including Art and Psychology Clubs.
Tiler played travel ball for the Texas Peppers for eight years and loved the girls she played with. She won The Unites States Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award her senior year. Her hobbies include going to the beach, hanging out with friends, sleeping and of course watching Netflix. Her favorite movie is American Sniper and her favorite food is any type of Chinese food. Tiler’s role model is her mom, Brandie, because she is awesome and she wants to be like her. She loves the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Houston Astros. Tiler chose UMKC because she fell in love with the campus and Kansas City. She loved the coaches and the girls and of course her favorite person- Sydney Garcia! She already loves being a Roo and exploring Kansas City with her new best friends.
