Alyx Bloom’s journey to UMKC started in her hometown of Clay Center, Kansas. She she lived with her two parents, Jamie and Caleb, and her two younger siblings, Zeb and Zane, and also her shihstzu, Barney! In high school, Alyx was a three-sport athlete, competing in volleyball, basketball, and softball.
