Roos Qualify for Four Events at NCAA West Regionals

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The UMKC men’s track and field team qualified three different athletes in four events for the NCAA West Regional on May 24-26 in Sacramento, Calif.

Christopher Bryan led the way for the Roos, qualifying 17th in the long jump with a mark of 7.78m and 15th in the triple jump with a mark of 15.78m.  Bryan opens with the long jump on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. CT, while the triple jump is on Saturday at 9:30 p.m. CT.

In the javelin, meanwhile, Harpreet Dosanjh qualified 29th at 66.08m and Carter Grissom qualified 34th at 64.67m.  The javelin will take place at 2 p.m. CT on Saturday.
