RIO VERDE, Ariz. – UMKC women’s golf has a 6-stroke lead and Chandler Gallagher (Kansas City, Mo.) continues to lead individually following the second round of the Rio Verde Intercollegiate on Saturday at the White Wing Golf Club. “Today was a long round out on the course and everyone showed great patience and fight,” head coach Brianna Broderick said. “We are looking to capitalizing on our opportunities tomorrow.

“We were excited for Cyrielle and her round today. She showed true grit. Chandler was very steady, hitting some terrific shots. She continues to give herself great opportunities. Chandler is a very talented golfer, and today’s round should give her and Cyrielle both the confidence to continue playing well.”
