Krahulik Named Assistant AD for Compliance

KANSAS CITY, Mo.Randy Krahulik has been named UMKC’s Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance after serving as an Assistant Athletics Director for Eligibility and Compliance Systems at Kansas since January 2013.

In his role with the Roos, Krahulik will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of UMKC’s compliance office, including providing rules interpretations for coaches, departmental staff, student-athletes, prospective student-athletes, University personnel, alumni and boosters. He will also control the monitoring efforts in the areas of recruiting, student-athlete employment, initial and continuing eligibility, financial aid and other duties as assigned.

While at Kansas, Krahulik was responsible for the day-to-day eligibility operations of the

Compliance Office by assisting in rules education, rules interpretations and research. In addition, he also oversaw the various compliance monitoring programs and the Compliance Standard Operating Procedures manual.

From August 2006 until January 2013, Krahulik served as the director of monitoring in the compliance department for Kansas Athletics. His main responsibilities were oversight of amateurism, recruiting, awards and benefits and playing and practice seasons.

Prior to his stint at Kansas, Krahulik spent three years in the compliance office at the University of Nebraska (2003-06).

Born in Lincoln, Neb., Krahulik attended Loup City (Neb.) High School. He graduated with his bachelor’s degree from Nebraska Wesleyan in 2000 and earned a master's degree from Wisconsin-Lacrosse in 2002.

Krahulik is an active member of the National Association for Athletics Compliance (NAAC).
