Women’s Soccer to Host Summer ID Camps

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – UMKC women’s soccer head coach Chris Cissell and his coaching staff announced on Monday that registration for the 2017 summer ID camps, June 17and July 15, is now open.

Campers will get the unique opportunity to showcase their talents in front of the UMKC coaching staff, as well as coaches from several other colleges and universities. The camp is directed by the entire Roos’ coaching staff, as well as many other successful, local college coaches.

Aside from participating in skill development, tactical training, small sided games and eight-on-eight and 11-on-11 games, campers will also get the chance to hear from UMKC women’s soccer players on what it takes to be an NCAA Division I student-athlete on and off the field.

At the conclusion of the ID camp, those in attendance will understand what it takes to compete mentally and physically at the NCAA Division I level.
