For the men, junior Grant Fleming and freshman Conner Edwards each picked up singles wins, while the double pairing of juniors Abdulrahman Alawadhi and David Heckler was also victorious in the match.
Oklahoma State opened the day with a victory at No. 1 doubles, with Vlad Bondarenko and Rifat Biktyako taking down Fleming and sophomore Max Helgeson 8-5, while Eric West and Christopher Haworth gave the Cowboys the doubles point with an 8-2 win over sophomore Tomas Patino and Edwards at the No. 2 line. Alawadhi and Heckler, meanwhile, closed out doubles play with an 8-5 win over Trevor Horstmann and Adolfo Aires at No. 3.
In singles action, the 'Roos dropped their first four matches before Edwards downed Horstmann, 6-4, 6-4 at the No. 5 line and Fleming took care of Biktyako from the No. 2 spot. Reigning Summit League player of the Year, Nino Hasandedic fell in his match, 6-2, 6-2 to Bondarenko, while Patino dropped his match with West, 6-3, 6-0 at No. 3. Alawadhi, meanwhile, lost to Haworth, 6-1, 6-0 at No. 4 and Helgeson lost to Aires, 6-4, 6-4.
In women's action, the 'Roos dropped all three of their doubles matches to No. 75 Oklahoma State, with junior Suzan Lisenby and senior Jillian Yakominich falling 8-2 to Leyla Simmons and Allison Burckhartt at No. 3, freshman Amelie Amsallem and Madeline Schulte falling to C.C. Sardinha and Isabela Miro 8-1 at No. 2 and juniors Eva Dalvai and Laura Bouet falling 8-3 to Meghan Blevins and Mary Jeremiah at No. 1.
In singles play, Schulte picked up the 'Roos lone win with a 6-1, 6-1 win at the No. 6 line over Jovana Pecovsksi, while Dalvai fell to Sardinha, 6-2, 6-0 from the No. 1 position. At No. 2, Bouet fell to Malika Rose, 6-2, 6-0, while Amsallem lost 6-1, 6-2 to Blevins at No. 3. Lisenby, meanwhile, dropped her match with Jeremiah, 6-3, 6-2 at No. 4 and 6-3, 6-2 at No. 4 and Yakominich fell to Miro, 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 at No. 5.
The women's squad will be back in action again tomorrow when they host Wichita State at 1 p.m., while the men's squad will head to Portland, Ore., on Friday to take on Portland at 10 a.m.
