UMKC Women Head to Drake for Weekend Trio of Duals

The UMKC women's tennis team (1-3) heads to Des Moines, Iowa for three dual matches this Saturday and Sunday against Drake, Chicago State, and Northern Iowa. The matches will be played at Roger Knapp Tennis Center on the campus of Drake.    


» UMKC vs. Drake » Feb. 18, 2012 » 10 a.m. Drake enters the weekend on a seven match win streak, and have a 7-1 overall record. The Bulldogs have played three different players at No. 1, all of which have winning marks. Manca Krizman leads the team with a 15-2 record. The 'Roos are 0-5 all-time vs. Drake, falling in each of the last five seasons.    

» UMKC vs. Chicago State » Feb. 18, 2012 » 2 p.m. Chicago State is 1-5 entering the weekend with a win against Bradley. They are led by No. 3 player Karyn Emeralda, who has won multiple matches this year. The 'Roos are 8-7 all-time vs. CSU, losing the last four, but have not played since 2006.    

» UMKC vs. Northern Iowa » Feb. 19, 2012 » 10 a.m. Northern Iowa is 3-2 on the season, and comes into Saturday's action on a two-match skid. No. 2 player Cassandra Dix leads the team with a 10-4 record. The 'Roos are 0-9 against the Panthers, losing in each of the last five seasons.
