KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The UMKC men’s golf team continues its 2018 spring season when it heads to Columbia, Mo., for the Tiger Invitational at The Club at Old Hawthorne (par-72; 7,2321-yard) on Apr. 9-10.

Field (19 teams): Central Arkansas, Creighton, Drake, Illinois State, IUPUI, Kansas State, Loyola-Chicago, Missouri, Missouri State, Morehead State, North Dakota State, Northern Illinois, Northern Iowa, Oral Roberts, Seattle U, SIU Edwardsville, South Dakota, South Dakota State and UMKC.

Course: The Club at Old Hawthorne (Par – 72; 7,221 yards)

Location: Columbia, Mo.

Schedule: Monday – Round 1 & 2/Tuesday – Round 3

The UMKC men’s golf team posted a sixth place finish on Saturday afternoon at the Grand Canyon Invitational in Phoenix, Ariz., at the GCU Golf Course.  In the event, a pair of Roos tied for 20th at +3.  Francois Lagraulet carded four birdies in the first round, all on par-4’s, while adding a solo birdie in round two and six more in the final round, including three straight on Nos. 3-6.  Matching him was Paul Foulquie.  In the opening round, the Frenchman carded four birdies and followed it up with three more in round two, all on the back nine.  The freshman went on to add two more in the final round.
