FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The UMKC men’s golf team kicks-off its 2017-18 season on Monday when it heads to Fort Collins, Colo., for the Ram Masters Invitational at the Fort Collins Country Club (par-70; 7,218-yard) on Sep. 18-19.
The field 19-team field includes: Air Force, Colorado State, Denver, Grand Canyon, Idaho, Illinois State, Long Beach State, New Mexico, Northern Colorado, Oral Roberts, Pacific, Sam Houston State, South Dakota, South Dakota State, TCU, UMKC, Utah Valley, Wichita State and Wyoming.
The Roos will tee-off in the opening round on Monday at 9 a.m. CT in a shotgun start in foursomes with round two immediately following. Tuesday’s third and final round, meanwhile, will use tee times on hole Nos. 1 and 10 beginning at 9 a.m. CT.
About the Roos
The 2017-18 edition of the Roos features a trio of freshmen in Paul Foulquie (Paris, France), Raphael Lapierre-Messier (Quebec, Canada) and Taylor Larsen (Garden City, Kan.), as well as three seniors in Nick Auer (Wichita, Kan.), Matthew Sieg (Osseo, Wis.) and Jack Hermeston (Newcastle, England). Sophomore McCain Schellhardt (Edmond, Okla.) and junior Sam Humphreys, meanwhile, return for their second season in the Blue & Gold, while lineup stalwart Francois Lagraulet (Bordeaux, France) enters his third season as a Roo.
The Roos return to the Jackrabbit Invitational on Oct. 1-3 at The Prairie Club in Valentine, Neb.
