KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The UMKC men’s tennis team (4-6) rebounded from a tough loss on Friday and took down UMSL, 7-0, on Saturday afternoon at the Woodside Tennis Center.

After coming down to the wire in a head-to-head match on Friday with Omaha, the Roos ran away with the match against the Tritons to claim their fourth victory on the season.

Ben Stride and Diego Giraldo won their second doubles match-up in as many days with a convincing 6-2 victory in the No. 1 spot.

The pair would then move on to take down their singles match-ups in the No. 2 and 3 spots while Tom Kruse, Neil O’ Connor and Hunter Clark all would close the match and sweep UMSL on Saturday afternoon.

Up Next: UMKC will head to Stillwater, Okla., to face off with Oklahoma State on Friday, March 15th at 6:30 p.m. CT.
