Roos to Close out Fall Slate at ITA Regionals

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The UMKC tennis teams will close out their fall slate this weekend when they head to the ITA Regionals.  The women will make the short trip to Lawrence, Kan., on Oct. 19-23, while the men travel to Minneapolis, Minn.

About ITA Regionals
The ITA Regional Championships feature some of the top men's and women's players across the country. Over 8,000 student-athletes from NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, Junior and Community Colleges compete across 85 ITA Regional Championships around the country.

About the Roos
On the women’s side, the Roos will send Aliona Ladutska, Melinda Johnson, Katie Fries, Grace Ball and Yana Grechkina to Lawrence, while on the men’s side, the entire roster will be heading to Minneapolis. This season, Fries claimed the title at the ESU Invitational in the #1-2 Flight, while Ball won the #5-6 Flight.  For the men, Airam Castellano won the #1-2 Flight and Anil Patel won the #5-6 Flight.
