EUGENE, Ore. – UMKC men’s golf tied for 12th Tuesday at the Duck Invitational at the Eugene Country Club. The Roos shot 293 (+9) to move up two spots in the final round.

McCain Schellhardt (Edmond, Okla.) paced the Roos and finished in a tie for 37th at 9-over par. He shot 73 (+2) in the third round with two birdies in a span of four holes on the back nine. Jakob Garstecki (Germantown, Wis.) and Hubert Tisserand (Lyon, France) both tied for 43rd at 11-over. Garstecki shot a final round 73 (+2) with five birdies, including four in a seven-hole stretch on the back nine. Tisserand closed with a 75 (+4), notching 12 pars in the third round.

Francois Lagraulet (Bordeaux, France) shot a 1-over 72 in the final round. He registered two birdies and 13 pars on Tuesday. Thibault Vieilledent (Cannes, France) carded a third round 78 (+7).

Oregon won the team title on its home course at 8-under par. Arizona finished second 18 shots back. The Ducks claimed the top three individual spots, led by Sulman Raza’s victory at 8-under.

The Roos return to the course on April 10-11 at the Tiger Invitational hosted by Mizzou at Columbia’s The Club at Old Hawthorne.
