'Roos Get Back in Action With Golden Eagles on Sunday

THIS WEEK

Kansas City men's tennis hosts Oral Roberts on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Carriage Club in a rescheduled dual. The 'Roos originally scheduled match at William Jewell set for March 9 has been moved to April 1 as well.

 

THE OPPONENT

Oral Roberts - Kansas City, Mo. (Carriage Club), 2:00 p.m.

The Golden Eagles come in with a 0-6 record, and only have wins at their No. 1 and No. 2 positions. Fabian Zierleyn leads the way with a 3-2 mark at the No. 1 spot, while Jason Mechali is 2-4 in the two hole. ORU is competing in the Southland Conference this season, leaving the Summit League last year. Kansas City is 13-21 all-time against ORU, but has won the last three meetings, including a 7-0 win last season.

Kansas City has Tomas Patino, Grant Fleming, Nino Hasandedic, Abdul Alawadhi, Tim Akhmedov, David Heckler, Conner Edwards, Daniil Ivanov and Andrey Smirnov available this Sunday.
