(Northridge, Calif.) - The Kansas City women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision at Cal State-Northridge in the season opener on Saturday, a day after getting rained out at Cal-Riverside.

Laura Bouet and Dimitra Stavrianakou each picked up singles wins for Kansas City, battling from down a set in each match.
