(Kansas City, Mo.) --  You are invited to attend the Kansas City Winter Softball Clinics! The two camps will be held on Dec. 1 and Jan. 19.

The Kansas City Softball coaching staff, other coaches from the area, and the Division I Kangaroos softball team will be hosting two multi-dimensional clinics. The Dec. 1 clinic is an "elite camp" for players currently in the eighth grade or older. The Jan. 19 camp is open to all players ages 8-and-older. Athletes will be grouped with similar ages and skill levels.

Don't be Just Another Number at a Big College Camp!

Our camp is designed around your position.  You may choose to design your own clinic experience.  Come to one camp and focus on one position or come to two camps and get another experience, and become that utility player all coaches want!

How do I Design My Camp?

Register online by choosing Clinic 1, Clinic 2, or Clinic 1 & 2.  Pick a position for each clinic.  Hitting is included for all positions.

Cost: $100 per camp or $175 for both

Time: 1 p.m. - 6 p.m. (Check-in: 12:00 p.m.)

*Pitchers you will need to provide a catcher they do not have to pay if only participating to catch. (Example: Dad may catch on a bucket for no charge).  We would like to use these mini-camps to evaluate and give constructive instruction on how to get better over a period of time.  We will not be able to teach a pitcher how to throw new pitches, but rather give all ages and skill levels drills and instructions that will help further their progress as a pitcher.  Please fill-out the pitchers comment box; let us know what you would like out of the camp and we will do our best to design a camp around you!

*Catchers we suggest you sign up for catching, meaning you will not be with a pitcher.  The majority of your time will be spent learning defensive techniques not catching a pitcher.  If you would like to register as a live catcher, you will only receive hitting instruction.  During the defensive instruction, staff will be working with the pitchers.

After you register online, be sure to print off a medical waiver, fill it out, and bring it will you to camp.  You will pay by cash, check or charge on the day of camp.  There will be no refunds.  Group discounts are available for 8 or more; just email Meredith Smith at smithmer@umkc.edu.
