(Lawrence, Kan.) - The Kansas City women's tennis squad completed its season-opening three-day tournament on Sunday at the KU Invitational.
The top performer in singles play was freshman Dimitra Stavrianakou, who tallied a third place finish in the F draw. Senior Eva Dalvai and sophomore Maddie Schulte each took sixth in their respective draws, while senior Suzan Lisenby had a fourth place finish.
In doubles play, Lisenby/Stavrianakou went 1-2, while Dalvai/Laura Bouet posted a 1-3 mark, both in the A draw. In the B draw, Gabby Pintos/Schulte went 1-3 overall.
The 'Roos will go back to KU for another tournament in mid-October to conclude fall season play.
