Coach Chris Cissell and the UMKC Women’s Soccer Staff are excited to be able to offer three different camp opportunities for girls of all ages and abilities to enjoy a fun, challenging and competitive camp experience.
June 27 – 30, 2013 UMKC Residential Camp open to all girls, grades 6 – 12
July 19 - 20, 2013 UMKC ID Camp open to all premier, competitive girls players, grades 8 - 12
July 20, 2013 UMKC Youth Clinic open to all girls, grades K - 5

Residential Camp Program
Be a part of the 2nd annual girls only soccer camp at UMKC. This camp targets the serious soccer player from grades 6 – 12 that wants to continue to progress and develop her overall soccer skills. UMKC Head Women's Soccer Coach Chris Cissell is the Director of the camp and is very excited to continue his 16 years of successful camp experience at UMKC.
ID Camp Program
This camp is designed for the premier, competitive player grades 8-12 that is looking for the opportunity to be trained at the very highest level. This ID camp is for the player who aspires to be a student-athlete at the collegiate level.
Youth Clinic
UMKC Youth Clinic is for all girls grades Kindergarten through 5th grade. The clinic will be a fun, instructional opportunity to learn and develop new skills while being coached by NCAA Division I players and coaches.
Camp Location
All camp training sessions and games are conducted at the beautiful Stanley H. Durwood Soccer Stadium & Recreational Field, 5025 Cherry Street, Kansas City, MO. 64110.This amazing $9M facility opened in 2009 and has quickly become the center of campus life at UMKC.
Campers are accommodated on UMKC’s campus in the suites of Johnson Residence Hall. The four person suites include a full private bathroom, refrigerator, microwave, and cable television. Camp staff will monitor the dormitory and escort players to and from each meal and field session.
Camp Information
THE DAILY SCHEDULE F0R RESIDENTIAL CAMP June 27- 30, 2013 includes three on-field sessions. The morning session will focus on technical, skill development. The afternoon session will focus on small-sided games, tactical awareness. The evening session is devoted to team competition and game play. Goalkeepers will receive specialized training. Free time recreation activities include swimming, game room, snack bar and other recreation facilities on campus. Staff provides 24 hour supervision, in addition to security provided by UMKC. There will be athletic trainer on duty for all sessions.
THE RESIDENT FEE of only $395 includes room, all meals: dinner on the first night through breakfast on the last day, use of collegiate facilities and a UMKC camp shirt. Camp check-in is from 3-5 pm on the first day of camp, June 27th. Checkout is after the morning session at noon on the last day, June 30th. This is the best NCAA Division I camp value in the Midwest.
THE COMMUTER FEE of only $355 includes all meals excluding breakfast, use of collegiate facilities and a UMKC camp shirt. Commuters check in from 3-5 p.m. the first day of camp, with dinner and instruction given until 9 p.m. The normal commuter's day begins at 9 a.m. and ends at approximately 9 p.m., except for the last day when checkout is at noon. This is the best NCAA Division I camp value in the Midwest.
A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT OF $200 is required to ensure enrollment. The balance of the fee is due by June 1st 2013. On receipt of your application, you will receive information about what to bring to camp as well as a detailed map and medical authorization form. Forms will be available on the website.
ID CAMP PROGRAM July 19-20, 2013, is a two-day, one night residential camp that is designed for the premier/competitive player that wants the opportunity to train at the highest level and see what it is like to be an NCAA Division 1 student-athlete. This will be a very intense training regiment that will challenge the campers to compete at the highest level. Campers will check-in during the morning of Friday, July 19th at 10:00 am and will have two training sessions on the field, as well as lunch and dinner. Day two of ID Camp will consist of another two intense training sessions on the field as well as breakfast and lunch. Check-out will be Saturday, July 20th at 3:00 pm. A UMKC camp shirt will be provided for all campers. ID CAMP FEE as a resident is $175 and for a commuter is $150.
Youth Clinic is a three-hour clinic from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Saturday July 20th, 2013. This clinic will be a fun, instructional clinic designed to introduce new skills and help campers develop and progress as youth soccer players. We will work on skills such as fast footwork, dribbling, 1v1 moves, passing, trapping/receiving, shooting/finishing and game play. UMKC camp shirt will be provided to all clinic participants. Youth Clinic FEE is only $40.
