    Sophomore Will Robson is leading the 'Roos through 36 holes at the Bill Ross Intercollegiate, as he is currently in a tie for 17th place.

    Kansas City, Mo. -- The UMKC men's golf team sits in ninth place through 36 holes at the Bill Ross Intercollegiate, which is being held at the Blue Hills County Club in Kansas City.  The 'Roos fired rounds of 310 and 303 to finish with a total of 613 strokes, which is 15 shots out of fourth place.

    Sophomore Will Robson is the top UMKC player on the individual leaderboard, sitting in a tie for 17th place.  The U.K. native carded rounds of 76 and 74 on the day to finish with a 150 total.  Freshman Viktor Mikaelsson posted the low round for the 'Roos on Monday, as he fired a one-over par 73 over his second 18 holes.  Overall, Mikaelsson is currently tied for 20th place with a 151 (78-73).

    Senior Alex Hogben sits just outside the top-25 through 36 holes, as he is tied for 27th place.  The England native carded rounds of 76 and 77 to finish with a 153. 

    Junior Josh Taylor and freshman Korbin Kuehn round out the team's counting five players.  Taylor is tied for 55th with a 159 (80-79), while Kuehn is tied for 64th with a 162 (81-81).

    The 'Roos also had three players competing as individuals in the tournament.  Freshman Park Ulrich is tied for 42nd with a 156 (76-80), senior Brett Iliff is tied for 53rd with a 158 (80-78) and sophomore Jens Harr is in 74th place with a 181 (92-89).

    Central Arkansas holds a 10 shot lead in the team race over Wichita State, as the Bears finished the day with a 582 (292-290).  The Shockers' Dustin Garza, meanwhile, is the top individual by three strokes after posting a four-under par 140.  Garza fired an even par 72 to open the day before shooting a tournament low round of 68 to take the lead.

    Play will resume on Tuesday morning at Blue Hills beginning at 9 a.m.
