Roo Item -- Closed out his career as the UMKC school record holder in goals (29), points (70), shots (160) and games played (78)... started all 78 games of his 'Roo career... also became the first three-time first team all-league honoree and the first four-time all-league selection... also was the first three-time all-region honoree in school history... also one of just seven players in UMKC history to tally a hat trick, as he accomplished the feat in the 4-3 win over Drake on Sept. 30, 2008.
2009 -- Summit League Offensive Player of the Year... First Team all-Summit League selection... NSCAA/Performance Subaru all-Midwest Region second team honoree... is the first player in school history to be a three-time NSCAA all-region selection... led the team and ranked first in The Summit League in goals (11) and points (25), ranked second in shots (54) and tied for fourth in assists (3)... the 11 goals and 25 points were tied for the third most in a single season in school history... finished with 54 shots (27 SOG) and a .500 shots on goal percentage... made 2-of-3 penalty kicks on the year... individually, ranked 28th in the nation in goals per game (.58) and 31st in points per game (1.32)... helped the 'Roos become the 45th best scoring offense (1.63) in the country... notched UMKC's lone goal in each of the team's first two games at San Francisco and at Missouri State... named to the all-Tournament Team at the UAB "Soccer For A Cure" Classic... tallied a goal in the 3-0 shutout victory over No. 23 Drake, which led to him being named to the all-Tournament Team at the Holiday Inn at the Plaza UMKC Invitational... the strike tied the school record for career goals... named The Summit League Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 5 after netting the game-winning goal in the 1-0 double overtime win over Western Illinois, making him the record holder for career strikes... scored goals in five straight games from Oct. 12 to Oct. 27 and in seven of nine matches to close out the year... tallied a goal and an assist at Air Force... also tallied a goal and an assist in the 4-1 win vs. Centenary that propelled him to the school record in career points... named The Summit League Offensive Player of the Week a second time on Oct. 19... was selected as The Summit League Men's Athlete of the Month in October after registering six goals and a pair of assists over the course of the month... netted a goal in the 2-1 win over top-seeded Oakland in the semifinal of The Summit League Championship... named to the Summit League Championship all-Tournament team after leading the 'Roos to their second straight final appearance... recipient of UMKC's Circle of Champions Award, which is given to the best overall student-athlete based solely on the individual's athletic performance.

NSCAA all-Midwest Region second team honoree... is the second player in school history to receive multiple NSCAA honors... started all 20 matches, where he amassed 1,787 minutes... finished with 10 goals and six assists for a total of 26 points... the 26 points are second most all-time, while the 10 strikes are the fifth most in a single season... tallied 43 shots (22 SOG) and a .512 shots on goal percentage... ranked 49th in the nation in points per game (1.3) and 55th in goals per game (0.5)... ranked second in the league in goals (10), goals per game (.50), points (26), points per game (.50) and was tied for second in assists (6)... also was tied for third in game-winning goals (3), was fifth in shots (43) and assists per game (.30) and was sixth in shots per game (2.15)... notched a goal in each of the first three games on the year, which included a game-winning strike at Florida Atlantic (9/5)... named to the all-Tournament team at the Gonzaga/Nike Soccer Classic (9/21)... tallied the fifth hat trick in UMKC history in the 4-3 win over No. 19/21 Drake (9/30), which led to him being named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week, the Soccer America Team of the Week and the Summit League Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 6... named to the Summit League Championship all-Tournament team after helping the 'Roos to the league title and NCAA Tournament berth... notched the game-winning goal in the 1-0 win over Western Illinois (11/14) in the semifinals... recipient of UMKC's Circle of Champions Award, which is given to the best overall student-athlete based solely on the individual's athletic performance.
2007 -- First Team all-Summit League selection... NSCAA all-Midwest Region third team selection... the first Kangaroo player since 2003 to earn all-region honors... started all 19 matches for the Kangaroos in 2007, amassing 1,654 minutes in the midfield... struck for a team-high six goals on the season, including two penalty kicks (at FAU, vs. Loyola Chicago) and a game-winning strike at IPFW... was named to the all-tournament team for the Blue-and-Gold at both the UMKC/Mr. Goodcents Brookside Invitational and the NIU-adidas/Baymont Inn Invitational... named to The Summit League Fall Academic all-League team.
2006 -- Was one of the ironmen for UMKC on the season, starting all 20 games, averaging nearly 80 minutes per game (78.9) for the Blue-and-Gold... earned second-team all-Mid Con honors, finishing with seven points (2 g, 3 a) on the year... registered his first collegiate point with an assist at Memphis... was key in the penalty shootout against Oral Roberts in the Mid-Con Tournament semi-finals, converting his attempt... recipient of the Dutton Brookfield Award, which is presented to a talented student-athlete who demonstrates great potential for the future.
High School -- Captain of his Killian High School side as a senior, Perez was a four-year letterwinner... earned honorable mention all-Florida honors for Class 6A schools as a junior and second-team all-Florida honors as a senior.
