Kock joined the UMKC athletic department in January of 2018 and is responsible for implementation and development of the strength and conditioning programs for men’s and women’s tennis and men and women’s track and field throwers, as well as assisting with implementation for the remainder of UMKC athletic teams. \
From 2012-16, earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at Baker, while playing football as a defensive lineman. During his playing days, Kock garnered two All-American selections, three conference defensive player of the year awards and four All-Conference nods.
Originally from Concordia, Mo., Kock currently reside in Kansas City, Mo., with his dog Max and is working towards a Master of Arts in Higher Education with and emphasis in Sports Administration and Exercise Science.
