Green Bay set the mark for best fielding percentage in school history and finished in the top half of the conference in every major team offensive category.

Before heading to Wisconsin, Bachkora coached at Northern Colorado for two seasons. He joined the program as a graduate assistant and was then promoted to Director of Softball Operations. In 2014, UNC advanced to a postseason tournament for the first time in school history.

Bachkora began his coaching career at his alma mater, Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, spending five seasons with the Ravens from 2008-13. Under his guidance, BC qualified for the conference tournament each year. He served as the hitting, outfield and catchers coach, mentoring two All-American players behind the plate. During his tenure, BC set school records for team batting average, home runs, slugging percentage, RBIs and runs scored.

In 2007, Bachkora earned a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from Benedictine, where he was a member of the baseball team.

Bachkora obtained a master’s degree in Physical Education from Emporia State in 2012 and a master’s in Sports Coaching from Northern Colorado in 2014.

He and his wife, Abby, reside in his hometown of Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
