Ashley Gann begins her first season as a graduate assistant for the women’s soccer team in 2015.
Prior to becoming the GA for the ‘Roos program, Gann taught fourth grade at Carver Dual Language Elementary School from 2014-2015, which is a part of the Kansas City Public Schools.
Gann graduated from UMKC in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and played for the ‘Roos soccer team from 2010-2014.
During her playing career, Gann accumulated numerous accolades, including being a two-time All-Summit League Fall Academic team (2010 and 2011), named the 17th best player in the Summit League by Top Drawer Soccer (2011), earning All-Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Tournament team honors, and being named Conference Player of the Week a total of three times (Summit League in 2010 and 2011, WAC in 2013).
Gann hails from Lee’s Summit, Missouri and is the daughter of Jon and Tammy Gann. She has three siblings, David Copeland, Sean and Alyssa Gann. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Teacher Leadership.
