Joined the Kansas City coaching staff in July of 2013 as a graduate assistant coach after spending four years as a member of the Park University men's volleyball team where he graduated in 2013.

At Park, Rose was a four-year starter at libero, helping the Pirates to an 85-29 record and to the 2012 National Championship, a Runner-Up finish in 2013 and three Final Four appearances.  In 2013, Rose was named NAIA Tournament Defensive MVP, the American Midwest Conference Defensive Player of the Year and to the Second Team All-AMC, while garnering multiple Libero of the Week honors.

As a prep at Hilltop HS in California, Rose led the state in digs, while pacing his team in kills en route to an all-conference selection.

On the sidelines, Rose spent two years as a student assistant to the girls' varsity squad at Hilltop, while serving as the head coach of the club team Seaside.
