Chiaparro enters his third year as the graduate assistant for the men's soccer team in 2017, after a two-year playing career with the Roos, where he was a two-time All-WAC selection.

2014 -- A second-team All-WAC and third-team NSCAA All-Region pick, he led the team with five assists out of the midfield... He started all 20 games, scoring three goals and ranking second on the team with 11 points... His goal against UNLV (10/19) was voted as the UMKC Goal of the Year by teammates... He also scored against Grand Canyon (10/17) and in the WAC quarterfinal win over San Jose State (11/13)... He finished his career ranked tied for eighth in assists with nine... He was named preseason All-WAC, and CSM second-team preseason all-conference... He was an Academic All-WAC selection following the season, as well as a Scholar Athlete at UMKC for his work in the classroom. 

2013 -- Named second-team All-WAC after tying for the team lead with 14 points... Led the team with four assists... He was the WAC Player of the Week after playing in the SMU Invitational (9/16), earning tournament co-MVP honors... In that tournament, he scored a goal against No. 13 Tulsa (9/13), a game that ended in a tie, he then scored the 1-0 game-winner against host SMU (9/15) to help the 'Roos claim a share of the title... His goal against Tulsa was later named the UMKC Goal of the Year... He was second on the team with five goals, and his four assists all came in WAC play, ranking him second in the conference in WAC games... He also scored goals in both games against Air Force, and also vs. WAC champion Seattle (11/3).

Before UMKC -- Played for head coach Tim Rooney at Lewis and Clark Community College, helping the team to a 13-7-1 record and an appearance in the Region 24 semifinals… He led the team with 14 goals and 13 assists for 41 points… He was named the Region Forward of the Year and to the first-team all-region squad… As a freshman he scored four goals and handed out six assists, helping the team to the region tournament and earning honorable mention all-conference… He played high school futsal in Brazil previous to that at Colegio Joao XXIII, where he was the team captain all three years.

Personal -- Born July 7, 1990 ... Son of Edmar Pedro Chiaparro and Maria Ines Rodrigues ... He has two older sisters, Yulika and Mayne ... During his years as an athlete, Chiaparro graduated with a major in Communication Studies and a minor in Spanish. As a graduate student, he is studying Education and Multiculturalism.
