(Kansas City, Mo.) - The Abilene Christian Wildcats won every match on their way to a 7-0 win over UMKC at the Plaza Tennis Center on Monday afternoon.

The 'Roos dropped a close doubles match at the No. 2 spot as Suzan Lisenby and Amelie Amsallem fell by an 8-6 score. The Wildcats won each of the others to take the doubles point.

In singles action, ACU took each match, but junior No. 2 Laura Bouet battled Micah Hermsdorf to a 7-5, 3-6, 10-6 decision, falling in the final set tiebreaker.

UMKC will head to Las Vegas, Nev. this weekend to serve up conference play for the first time this year. The 'Roos will face South Dakota, IUPUI, Western Illinois and Southern Utah over the weekend.
