BARCELONA, Spain – Today we arrived in Barcelona. We had not seen each other since last semester and it was cool how we all got to unite again arriving not only from Kansas City but different parts of the world like Egypt, Russia, Greece, Norway, Georgia, Germany, Brazil and even Singapore. Most of us were jetlagged but our excitement to explore the city kept us going. We first got to practice on clay courts at the place where the 1992 Olympics took place! Then we ended the night by taking the metro to a place called La Rambla, which is a famous place in Spain that lies in between La Plaza Cataluña and the Christian Columbus Monument. We got to through a pedestrian street that were surrounded by shops, beautiful architecture and amazing food.
