(Kansas City, Mo.) – Sophomore Antoine Rozner fired two straight rounds of 73 to sit in a tie for ninth and help the ‘Roos to a sixth place position entering the final round of play after back-to-back rounds of 300 in the Memphis Intercollegiate at the Colonial Country Club in Cordova, Tenn.

Rozner opened the day with four birdies in round one, before following it up with a trio of birdies in round two to sit at +2 in the event.

Coming off the individual title at the Desert Shootout, senior Nathan Hughes is currently tied for 18th at +4, carding five birdies on the day, including twice on the par-five 18th.

Senior Jack Fiscus and freshman Thibault Vieilledent, meanwhile, are tied for 36th at +9, as each shot 77-76 on the first day of play.

Fiscus ended the day with four second round birdies, while Vieilledent recorded three in round one and two in round two.

Junior Mitch Tucker, meanwhile, rounds out the Kansas City lineup sitting in a tie for 64th, notching three birdies on day one, while senior Cole Chelle is tied for 71st after also finishing with three birdies.

Host Memphis holds the team lead in the event by 11 shots over South Alabama, while the Tigers Cory Gaylord is the individual leader by two shots at -4.

The Blue & Gold will be back in action again tomorrow morning when they hit the course for the third and final round of play.
