Kansas City To Head To Fayetteville, Arkansas For NCAA Regionals

(Kansas City, Mo.) – The Kansas City men’s golf team will head to Fayetteville, Ark., as the No. 13 seed for the regional competition of the 2013 NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship at Blessings Golf Club.

The ‘Roos, who claimed the 2013 Summit League Men’s Golf Championship on Apr. 24, will open up the first round of the NCAA Regional on May 16 with play to conclude with the final round on May 18.

Joining the ‘Roos in Fayetteville will be: 1. Texas, 2. Arkansas, 3. Oklahoma State, 4. SMU, 5. Kent State, 6. Illinois, 7. Liberty, 8. Tulsa, 9. Kentucky, 10. Colorado, 11. Indiana, 12. UNC-Wilmington, and 14. Alabama State, as well as individuals from Kansas, Stephen F. Austin, Central Arkansas, Murray State and UT-Arlington.

The ‘Roos only other appearance in the NCAA Regional came in 2011 when they finished 13th in Zionsville, Ind.
