Earlier this week, Frerichs won the event at The Summit League Championships with a time of 16:54.54, while also taking home the gold in the 3,000 meters with a UMKC record time of 9:46.24.
On the men's side, meanwhile, senior Dontay Taylor tied a personal mark of 7.11 meters to finish sixth in Friday's long jump, followed by junior Joshua Harden placing seventh with a personal best mark of 7.00 meters in the event as well.
Tomorrow, the Blue & Gold will wrap up the Alex Wilson Invitational, beginning at 10 a.m. with the men's triple jump and the women's 60-meter hurdles.
