(Kansas City, Mo.) - Kansas City men's soccer sophomore forward Jordan Rideout added to his honors Monday when he was named to the NSCAA All-Midwest Region Third-Team.

Rideout led the team with seven goals (also 2 assists, 16 points), and was tied for the league lead with five goals in conference play this season, three of which came in overtime. For his efforts, he was named first-team All-Summit League.

The Blue Valley North High School product was a first-team all-conference selection a year ago as well, and was the 2011 Newcomer of the Year. He is currently ranked 11th in school history with 14 goals.

He is the first all-region selection since 2010 for the 'Roos, and the 16th in program history (since 2000).

Kansas City finished the season second in the conference regular season standings at 5-2, with a 7-10-2 overall record.
