KANSAS CITY, Mo. – UMKC women’s tennis (12-9) closes out the regular season this weekend when it heads to St. Louis, Mo., on Friday to take on Saint Louis (7-11) at 12 p.m. CT before returning to Kansas City on Sunday to host Northern Iowa (4-11) on Senior Day at 10 a.m. CT.

The Roos return to action this week with their final two regular season contests of the year at Saint Louis and home against Northern Iowa. On Sunday, the Roos will honor seniors Aliona Ladutska and Melinda Johnson.
Last time out, the Roos clinched the No. 2 seed in the WAC Tournament with wins over Grand Canyon and New Mexico State. For her efforts in the matches, Ladutska was named WAC Women’s Tennis Singles Player of the Week for the fifth time this season.
On the year, the Billikens have picked up A-10 wins over St. Joseph’s and Rhode Island, while adding DI wins over Valparaiso and SIU Edwardsville.
This season, the Panthers have beaten Valparaiso, Milwaukee and South Dakota State at the DI level.
Up Next: The Blue & Gold will be back in action again on Apr. 28-29 when they take part in the WAC Championship in Mesa, Ariz., starting on Saturday against either New Mexico State or Seattle U at 11 a.m. CT, before Sunday’s Championship match at 11 a.m. CT.
