Roos Head to Tulsa for Jimmy John's ORU Invitational

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The UMKC track & field teams continue their 2018 outdoor season when they head to Tulsa, Okla., for the Jimmy John’s ORU Invitational on Mar. 31 at the Oneok Sports Complex.

Field events begin the day, starting with the hammer throw at 8 a.m., while the track will open with the 3,000-meter steeplechase at noon CT and conclude with the 4x400-meter relays at 5:15 p.m. CT.

The Jimmy John’s ORU Invitational will be the first track meet held on the ORU campus at the ONEOK Sports Complex, which was officially opened October 4, 2017. The two-day meet will feature high school competition on Friday, March 30, with a collegiate meet on Saturday, March 31.
