KANSAS CITY, Mo. – UMKC men’s tennis (5-8) returns to Kansas City where they will host the first WAC cluster of the season on Mar. 29-31 at the Plaza Tennis Center.

UMKC Kangaroos (5-8) vs. Chicago State Cougars (5-12) | vs. Seattle U Redhawks (7-9) | vs. Grand Canyon Lopes (12-4)

The Roos enter the match as winners of two of their last three contests, falling only to No. 16 Oklahoma on Saturday during the stretch.


Prior to Saturday’s match with Grand Canyon, the Roos will host Senior Day where they will honor a trio of players in Airam Castellano, Alex Pozo and Hunter Clark.


Chicago State enters the match with five wins on the season after knocking-off Saint Francis (Ill.), Purdue Northwest, Prairie State College, Roosevelt and Howard this season.


Seattle U enters the cluster with seven wins on the season, including Division I wins over Idaho State, Southern Utah and Northern Colorado.


Grand Canyon comes into the weekend with 12 wins this year after taking down Division I foes UC Irvine, Pacific, Sacramento State, Lamar, Brown, Nevada, UC Davis, UT Arlington, FGCU and Illinois State.


Up Next:  The Blue & Gold head to Des Moines, Iowa, for their penultimate nonconference match of the season when they take on Drake a 6 p.m. CT on Apr. 6.
