KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The UMKC women’s golf team continues its 2018 spring season when it heads to Dallas, Texas, for the Bradley Spring Break Invitational at the Brookhaven Country Club (par-73; 6,286-yard) on Mar. 12-13.

About the Roos
The UMKC women’s golf team opened up the 2018 spring season with a 14th place finish in the Rio Verde Collegiate Invitational in Rio Verde, Ariz., at the Rio Verde Country Club. In the event, the Roos finished the three-day event at 947 after rounds of 323, 317 and 307. Cynthia Diaz led the Roos in the event with a 34th place finish at +16 with a pair of birdies in each of the first two rounds and a fifth on the final day of play.
This fall, Diaz and Gallagher each notched third place results with Diaz finishing third in the Pat Bradley Invitational and Gallagher coming in third in the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational. Gallagher, meanwhile, shot a 70 at the Johnie Imes Invitational, tied for the fifth best round in school history, while her 218 in the event and Diaz’s 218 in the Pat Bradley Invitational are each tied for the third lowest 54-hole tournament score in school history.
