KANSAS CITY, Mo. – UMKC men’s tennis opens up the 2018 championship season when it heads south to take on a pair of Big 12 opponents.  On Friday, the Roos will face Oklahoma State (2-0) at 1 p.m. in a rematch of last season’s NCAA tournament first round contest, before traveling to Baylor (0-0) for a doubleheader with the Bears at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. CT.

The Roos return to action for the first time in 2018 after claiming their first ever Western Athletic Conference title and their fifth conference title overall a season ago.

 

The match will be the third of the season for the Cowboys after they defeated Lamar and Bryant by identical 7-0 scores, while Baylor will open the season with the Roos.

 

Up Next:  The Roos return to Kansas City on Friday, Jan. 26 when they welcome in William Jewell for a 2 p.m. CT contest.
