LAKEWOOD, Wash. – The UMKC women’s golf team continues its fall season when it heads to Lakewood, Wash., for the Pat Lesser-Harbottle Invitational on Oct. 16-17 at the Tacoma Golf & Country Club (par-72; 6,086-yard).
The Roos will tee-off on Monday in a 36-hole shotgun start at 10 a.m. CT. Tuesday’s third and final round, meanwhile, also will be a 10 a.m. CT shotgun start with the final 18 holes taking place.
The field 16-team field includes: Boise State, British Columbia, CSUN, Gonzaga, Grand Canyon, Houston Baptist, Idaho State, Montana, North Dakota State, Sam Houston State, Seattle, UC Irvine, UMKC, Utah Valley, Washington and Weber State.
About the Roos
The Roos will venture outside of the state of Missouri for the first time this season when they head to Washington. On the year, UMKC has tied for eighth at the MSU/Payne Stewart Memorial and finished 14th at the Johnie Imes Invitational. Cynthia Diaz (Bucaramanga, Colombia) led the squad in the first event, finishing in a tie for 22nd, while in the Roos latest outing, Chandler Gallagher (Kansas City, Mo.) was the highest finishing Roo, tying for 11th.
Roos at Pat Lesser-Harbottle Invitational
UMKC returns to the Pat Lesser-Harbottle Invitational for the first time since 2014-15 when they finished in 13th position.
The Blue & Gold will close out its fall slate when it heads to Lakewood Ranch, Fla., on Oct. 22-23 for the Pat Bradley Invitational at the Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club.
