Roos Head to Virginia for Kingsmill Intercollegiate Hosted by William & Mary

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – UMKC women’s golf travels east to compete in the Kingsmill Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday at the River Course at Kingsmill Resort. The teams will play 36 holes on Monday beginning at 7:15 a.m. CT. Tuesday’s final round begins at the same time.

The Roos are coming off a ninth-place finish in last week’s MSU Spring Citrus Challenge. Cynthia Diaz (Bucaramanga, Colombia) tied for ninth individually at 7-over. Chandler Gallagher (Kansas City, Mo.) tied for 13th individually.

The teams competing in the event include Akron, Ball State, Bethune-Cookman, Central Connecticut, Delaware, Fairleigh Dickinson, Illinois State, James Madison, Lehigh, Longwood, Marshall, UMKC, Navy, Penn, Radford, Richmond, Sacred Heart, St. Francis (Pa.), St. John's, Towson, Wagner and William & Mary.

Following the tournament in Virginia, UMKC returns home to host the Kansas City Shootout on April 9-10 at Shoal Creek Golf Course. The Roos will also host the Western Athletic Conference Championships on April 19-21 at Indian Hills Country Club in Mission, Kansas.
