Roos Compete at Carol Robinson Pentathlon

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Christopher Bryan (St, Catherine, Jamaica) led the way for the Roos with his second-place finish on the men’s side of the Carol Robinson Pentathlon in Manhattan, Kansas, on Friday afternoon.

Bryan scored 3309 points on the day, and held the lead until the day’s final event, the 1000M. He finished 96 points behind the meet’s winner Max Estill of Kansas State. Bryan won the 60M hurdles and the high jump on his way to his runner-up finish.

Zane Lockhart (Plattsmouth, Neb.) took home fourth-place with 3082 points. He placed fourth in the long jump, coming in right behind Bryan.

 Daiwa Emmert (Bolivar, Mo.) Placed fourth on the women’s side of the event, totaling 3206 points over the five events.

Gabriel Foster finished the day in sixth with 2665 points.

The Roos will be back in action tomorrow at the K-State Winter Invitational.
