2017 (Sophomore): Appeared in 54 games, including 53 starts for UMKC … Finished third on the team in batting average (.325), going 50-for-154 at the plate with four doubles and a team-leading 12 home runs and team-leading 32 RBIs … Slugged .584 with an on-base percentage of .409 and scored 31 runs … Was one of only three Roos to bat over .300 on the season … Had several multi-hit games … Named WAC Hitter of the Week on Feb. 27 for her performance against Nicholls (Feb. 24), when she went 3-for-4 from the plate with two runs, three RBIs and two home runs … Went a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate against Wichita State (Feb. 25) with one run and two RBIs … Named to the We Back Pat All-Tournament Team … Went 2-for-2 with a run, two RBIs and a home run at New Mexico State (April 14) … Bombed five home runs in five games, including three in UMKC's split against Creighton (April 18) at Missouri 3&2 … Went 3-for-5 twice against CSU Bakersfield at the WAC Tournament, combining for five runs, six RBIs and a home run between the two games … Her one home run in the conference tournament was a grand slam, the only one for the Roos during the 2017 season. 

2016 (Freshman): Appeared in 49 games, starting all but one of those, as a true freshman … Batted .260 (33-for-127) with six doubles and 18 RBIs … Slugged .307 with an on-base percentage of .391 and scored 16 runs … Batted the fifth-highest on the team during conference play, going 15-for-45 (.333) with three doubles, 11 RBIs and six walks … Collected second-team All-WAC honors. 

High School - A four-time letterwinner at Lawrence High for head coach Joe Dee Tarbutton... Earned All-Conference honorable mention her freshman year and first-team All-Conference her final three seasons of high school... Also earned first-team All-State and All-Area her sophomore, junior and senior seasons... Four-year honor roll student and a Kansas Honors Scholar as well as valedictorian of her class... Was a member of FCA, Student Athlete Leadership Team (SALT) and Younglife.

Personal - From Lawrence, Kansas... Daughter of Mike and Amy Byrn... Father, Mike, is a police officer and mother, Amy, is an accountant... Has one sibling, an older sister, Lauren, who plays softball at Washburn University... Her father and uncle, John Byrn, both played baseball at Kansas, and aunt Shelly played softball for the Jayhawks... Majoring in nursing.
