UMKC Softball Season-Opening Tournament Called Off

The UMKC softball team will have to wait another week to open its season, as the Middle Tennessee Invitational, which was scheduled for Feb. 12-13, has been called off due to freezing temperatures and continued precipitation.

UMKC Softball Picked Fifth In Summit League Preseason Poll

The UMKC softball team was picked to finish fifth in The Summit League Preseason Poll in a vote of the league's nine head coaches. The 'Roos received 30 points in the polls, trailing fourth place Oakland by only four points.
