Miller, Yoxall to Represent UMKC at NCAA West Preliminaries

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The UMKC track and field program learned Thursday, May 19, that junior Bryce Miller and sophomore Alex Yoxall were accepted into the preliminary round of the 2016 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships being held May 26-28 at Rock Chalk Park in Lawrence, Kansas.

STANFORD, Calif.– UMKC men's track and field school record holder in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, junior Bryce Miller one-upped himself on Sunday, May 1, to set a new personal record in the event at one of the most prestigious track meets in the country, the Payton Jordan Invitational in Stanford, California. Miller's new personal record is now the fifth-fastest time in NCAA Division I this season.
